Prof. Yutaka Moritomo

Title: Tertiary Battery as Energy Harvester
Yutaka Moritomo has completed his PhD in physics from University of Tokyo in 1992. After working as JSPS fellowship researcher, he became an associate professor of at Nagoya University in 1996. Then, He moved to Tsukuba University as a professor in 2005. Now, he is the director of division of energy harvesting at Tsukuba Research center for Energy Material Science (TREMS), University of Tsukuba. Especially, he proposed tertiary battery that can be charged repeatedly by temperature change of the device. he aims to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of tertiary batteries and liquid thermoelectric conversion, Focusing the conversion of environmental heat into electrical energy. He has published more than 200 papers (total citation is 27,000, h =72, i10 = 270.)
Prof. D. Yogi Goswami

Dr. D. Yogi Goswami is a Distinguished University Professor and Director of the Clean Energy Research Center at the University of South Florida. He is also a Co-Founder and CTO of Applied Photonix LLC He has published as an author or editor 23 books and more than 400 scientific papers. He is the editor-in-chief of Solar Compass, journal of the International Solar Alliance. He also holds 42 patents and has been inducted in the Florida Inventors Hall of Fame. Dr. Goswami has commercialized a number of his inventions. His latest invention of Plasmonic Photonic technology to disinfect and purify indoor air is being commercialized by Applied Photonic LLC. Dr. Goswami is a recipient of the highest energy related awards of ASME, ASES, ISES and AAES and more than 50 other awards and certificates from major engineering and scientific societies. Prof. Goswami has served as President of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), a Governor and Senior Vice President of ASME-International. He is a Fellow of ASME, ASHRAE, ISES, ASES and AAAS. Dr. Goswami is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pan American Academy of Engineering and also a member and the President elect of the Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine of Florida.
Prof. Yang Haiping
Huazhong Univ. of S&T,China
Title: The development of biomass energy for high value product combined with renewable power
Haiping Yang received her Ph.D Degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2005. Now, she is focused on Biomass/solid wastes thermochemical conversion for green H2 production, liquid fuel and biochar. So far she has published over 300 SCI papers, 10 book chapters and SCI citation is over 30000 with 10 papers cited in ESI and the highest citation of one SCI paper is over 6000. Now she owns National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars program (China), the Excellent Young Scholars program (China), Newton Advanced Fellowships, the Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Elsevier, 2014-2023) and highly-cited-researchers @ Clarivate. She is associated editor of Fuel Processing Technology, and board member of Energy Conversion and Management, Fuel, Journal of the Energy Institute, Journal of Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, Cabon Capture Science and Technology and Green Carbon, she is also Board Directors member of Combustion Institute and Chinese Renewable Energy Society.
Prof. Dipti Srinivasan

Dipti Srinivasan is the Provost’s Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore, where she also heads the Centre for Green Energy Management & Smart Grid (GEMS). Her recent research projects are in the broad areas of optimization and control, wind and solar power prediction, electricity price prediction, deep learning, and development of multi-agent systems for system operation and control. Her current research focuses on the development of novel computational intelligence-based models and methodologies to aid the integration of the new Smart Grid technologies into the existing infrastructure so that power grid can effectively utilize pervasive renewable energy generation and demand-side management programs, while accommodating stochastic load demand. She is the author of four books and over 450 journal and conference papers in the field of computational intelligence, renewable energy and smart grids which have been published in top tier journals. Dipti is a Fellow of IEEE. She was awarded the IEEE Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award in 2022, IEEE PES Outstanding Engineer award in 2010, and IEEE Singapore Outstanding Volunteer Award in 2020. Dipti is an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, Solar Energy and IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence. At the ECE department of National University of Singapore, she teaches courses in the areas of Sustainable Energy systems, Smart Grid, and computational intelligence methods. She is the recipient of NUS Annual Teaching Excellence Award and Engineering Educator Award.
